1. These terms
These Terms govern your use of pacificrelocation.com and any related booking or messaging channels we operate. By using the site you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
Engaging us for relocation services is separate. That is governed by a written service agreement between us. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement wins.
2. Who we are
Pacific Relocation is a business name of Your Main Guy Consulting Ltd., 1108 Pendrell Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6E 0C7, Canada.
3. What the website is
The website is an information and enquiry resource. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, or a binding commitment to provide services. Service descriptions, timelines and any figures shown are illustrative and depend on your circumstances.
4. Scope of our services
We provide relocation coordination and consulting: housing search, move logistics, settling-in support, orientation, and project management of a relocation.
We do not provide legal advice, immigration advice or representation, tax advice, financial advice, or real estate brokerage services. Where your relocation needs any of those, we refer you to appropriately licensed professionals. They contract with you directly and are responsible for their own work.
Immigration Support is coordination and referral only. We are not licensed immigration consultants, lawyers or Quebec notaries, and we do not give immigration advice or act as your representative. What we do is help you understand what your relocation involves, connect you with a licensed professional, gather and organise documents at their direction, and keep the process moving alongside the rest of your move. Any advice on your eligibility, your application, or your immigration options comes from the licensed professional you engage, not from us.
5. Bookings and consultations
Consultations booked through our site are subject to availability. We may reschedule where we have to, and will give as much notice as we can. There is no cancellation or no-show charge for the free discovery call.
6. Fees
Fees, payment terms and refunds are set out in your service agreement. No payments are taken through this website.
7. Third parties
Our services involve coordinating third parties: landlords, property managers, movers, schools, utilities, licensed professionals. We select partners carefully, but:
- They contract with you directly, or as disclosed in your service agreement
- We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, pricing or service quality
- We do not guarantee availability of any particular property, school place or service
Our website links to third-party sites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
8. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate, complete and timely information. Much of what we do depends on it, and an incorrect date, budget or document can derail a relocation. We are not liable for outcomes caused by inaccurate or withheld information.
You also agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to breach security, no automated scraping, no use of the site for unlawful purposes.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, photography, graphics, logos, and the Pacific Relocation name and marks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by Canadian and international law. You may view and print pages for your own use in evaluating our services. Any other reproduction, republication or commercial use requires our written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The website is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunity, or costs arising from a delayed or unsuccessful relocation
- Our total liability arising from your use of the website is limited to CAD $100
- Liability arising from services we actually deliver is governed by your service agreement
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence. Your rights under British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act are not affected.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these Terms.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these Terms.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the site after we post changes means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. The courts of British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction.
